Because SEO requires a time cost, it is easy to make it difficult to get started, or there is no positive feedback in a short period of time.
But it doesn’t mean that there can’t be some short-term methods. Catching new words is the fastest way.
Its principle is: when some new hot events appear, users have a lot of search intentions, and Google is very eager to capture some suitable content for users. The ranking of this part will be very fast. In my opinion, there are two methods that are the best practices for finding new words.
Use Google Trends
Google Trend is a very powerful tool. For example, if you put the keyword AI in, it can automatically query the keywords related to AI that have been growing in the recent period. As shown in the picture:
Pay attention to the filtering conditions. The first is country (depending on your market) and time range (if you think you are sensitive enough, choose a closer one, and choose 7 days for entry).

You can see it immediately

Then we can take a look at the market phenomenon. Four days ago, a website directly bought a related domain name, wrote lyrics and articles, and achieved search results on the first page (it did not go to Google's series of traffic statistics, so there is no data below).

Google Trend is post-positioned. This way of writing words is a great test of decision-making, execution efficiency, and relevance to the business.
Google’s ranking is on a first-come, first-served basis. For example: Suppose you make a new word and achieve the first ranking. If the second person wants to use this word, you will have to work 10 times as hard to get to the first place (whether it is adding external links or the weight of this site).
Follow your heart
If you read this article.
We can do some pre-emptive things. First, real-time news is the fastest, followed by user search intentions, and finally Google trends. Then if we have research on user search psychology and understanding of the market, we can make immediate decisions and direct layout. After all, an official website can have many keywords. As long as you catch one of them, you will almost immediately reach the top of the traffic volume, and this traffic can last for a very long time.
Real-time and solve user needs
Take the above words as an example: ai barbie dolls. We can look at usaToday (this article is also a high-intensity article with multiple hot topics and in line with SEO).
The origin of this search intent is probably that many people on social media shared similar customized AI dolls generated through OpenAI real people, and then there was search value, and everyone searched for ai dolls. (The last popularity of this kind of word was Open AI’s Ghibli style image)
Then this search intent can be divided into two categories:
- I want to make an AI doll picture for my real-life photo.
- I want to know where this thing comes from.
So there are two ways for us to play:
- Spend some time building a website and develop it (this is what we will talk about later, there is a way to quickly replace the basic template website and go online), and then realize the first requirement, quickly do traffic diversion and conversion, and complete the harvest by using the unit price of the picture.
- Use tools to build a website in 30 minutes, describe the origin of this thing, what it is, how to play it, and where to play it, realize the 2 requirements, and then guide the traffic to the location we want (advertising, main website), etc., to complete the harvest.
Obviously, the solutions I mentioned all solve user problems, and only by solving user search intentions will the ranking be higher.
New word question
The first question: Obviously not all new words can have long-term traffic benefits. Many new words are just cut off in one wave, and there will be no traffic benefits if they are used after a period of time. It’s hard to come across new words that can generate long-term traffic. Even if there are, you’ll only cut off that wave. If you don’t have good products and resources later, you will definitely be squeezed out.

The second problem: It is actually difficult to find new words that fit the business and industry, and it may even take a long time to appear.
But no matter what, it is definitely worthwhile to create new words. You can get 10,000 or even 100,000-level exposure for just 10$ for a website, which is obviously a return on investment.
End
This set of gameplay is actually common to any traffic platform. They are all about chasing real things to get traffic and making money through advertising/conversions. However, Google's traffic is relatively more expensive overall.
When it comes to chasing real-time, social media platforms are actually the fastest information channels (such as Twitter).
